Hoteliers interested in REMS can now purchase trial kits to evaluate the level of savings that our system provides.

The REMS trial operates in 2 similar, adjacent rooms to gauge the savings potential by measuring:

• Thermal energy – the difference in temperatures in the rooms when they are unoccupied, or unsold as well as comparative cumulative measurements
• Electrical energy – comparative consumption between the rooms over the trial period

REMS is installed and commissioned in each room with 1 system set to monitor and control (MC) and the other set to monitor only (MO). The variance between the Thermal and Electrical energy values of each room allows Managers to establish the potential for energy savings in their own property and to qualify that REMS does not interfere with guest comfort, or with the value of the hotel’s brand equity.
